Virgin blood

Virgin blood is blood taken from a virgin, generally a human virgin. It has the quality 'virgin' due to having been extracted from a person who still possessed that quality at the time of extraction. Virgin blood has uses in both Necromancy and Diabolism, as mentioned in 118: Upon Further Reflection. Mackenzie requires human virgin blood once a month to feed her demon side. This is the only food her body actually requires for survival, and she can not live without it.
