Suzune Hoshinotama

Suzune “Sooni” Hoshinotama is a kitsuyokai attending Magisterius University. Sooni serves as a counterpoint to Mackenzie. Sooni is imperious and possessed of an entitlement complex. Her native language is Yokano, the language of her home country, but she is more fluent in Pax than her nekoyokai.

Sooni is often accompanied by her nekoyokai, Kai, Suzi, and Maliko. They are, she emphatically demands, her friends, despite the fact that her parents apparently purchased the three of them as companions or servants for her. Kai is Sooni’s favorite, as she resembles Kai-Kai, a character from Sooni’s favorite show, "Pretty Neko Science Princess". Kai is also Sooni's roommate -- a situation that apparently results in abuse, as Sooni would prefer to have a private room, in keeping with her perceived station.

Sooni is majoring in Applied Enchantments with a minor in Transportation and Communication. She was in the same section of Basic Knife as Mackenzie, before Mack dropped that class.
