Sidhe

In elven myth, the Sidhe were the "smaller children of the formless void," born from Chaos after the All. They became the sprites of the woods and taught the first elves the use of magic and crafts.[1]

The Sidhe are said to be tricky and dangerous. One punished the elf Ursula with lameness in punishment for kicking him.

Puddy has Sidhe ancestry, or so she claims.

James Bowman has an axe of Sidhe make. A sidhe resembling a miniature man has met with Jamie in the deep woods on two occasions. Jamie calls the sidhe "the real fair folk," as opposed to the elves, who are apparently not really as fair as they like to think. [2]
