Pax Imperium is the common language spoken in the Imperial Republic of Magisteria.

One known detail of this language that distinguishes it from English is the existence of the letter 'Kh'. The name of the letter is pronounced 'Khee'. It is pronounced as an aspirated 'K' sound, like the 'ch' in "loch". This letter is aparently used in names to denote divinity. Names of non-deities get an ordinary 'K' instead.
