Pain and Injury (Plus Addendum)

This article came about in response to repeated instances of readers not understanding how it was possible for Mackenzie to be hurt by things which did her no physical harm. She explained in detail how in the MUniverse things which have the quality of causing injury also have the quality of causing pain, rather than the pain being caused by the injury itself, and that Mackenzie's magical immunity to non-magical damage does not shield her from the accompanying pain.
