Nagakin: magical snake person. Celia and one other in this story have this heritage. Nagakin have no hair and a snake-like mouth and eyes. They otherwise appear fairly human, having no scales and flesh tone skin.

Nagakin have a paralytic venom, transferable by bite. It is implied that this venom plays a significant role in their mating rituals. Another oddity is that they snakelike genitalia.
