Marlot

Marlot Kincaid is a freshman living in Pelinor Hall. Thus far it seems that she is completely human, though she jokes about being half gnome. She came to MU with her high school friend Jamie. Jamie describes her this way:
She’s short and kind of heavy. Okay, that’s being nice. She’s really heavy. She doesn’t look bad, though. She isn’t gross.
She was wearing a dark green sweater with some kind of shiny yarn, and a blue and black crocheted cap over her curly auburn hair. She liked to joke about being half-gnome, but as far as I knew she’d be in Freckle-Face’s “us” category. I knew her from high school. We’d picked Pelinor because it’s a mixed dorm, and we could both be on the same floor.
Both Marlot and Jamie come from the town of Agora, which is a little market town in Westphale.
Marlot has a bad leg. In ~10~ Hard Questions Jamie explains that "Her leg’s too short and her knee doesn’t work right." Since she was born that way ordinary healing spells won't fix it and the alternatives are too expensive, so Marlot lives with the inconvenience. She can get a bit snippy about it if people make a big deal out of it.
By contrast she delights in making a big deal about Jamie's small percentage of elven heritage, but if anyone else does so she comes down on them for being a racist.
