Magisterius University
From MU Wiki
The august institution at the heart of the story is the best school of applied magic in the Imperium. It is home to a broad educational philosophy, a wide range of opportunities for studies, and some of the most equal facilities possible. Many students come to Magisterius University, only for their lives to be changed forever. A few tend to lose them however, so it is best to be cautious.
Magisterius University has standing policies on equality (that it is a good thing), weapons on campus (mandatory), and community building (what kind, we have no idea). It also offers a full lunch court, a wide range of sports and extracurricular activities, and a competitive skirmish team. If you can tell who they compete with, this article wasn’t written properly. Many scholarship options also exist, but none of those will be dealt with.
In addition, Magisterius University is fully equipped for semi- and non-human students, with many in attendance now. There are ogres, dwarves, nymphs, elves, and many others in a multicultural and non-judgemental atmosphere, including a dormitory built to accommodate those with special needs. All told, Magisterius University is the premier university for the magically inclined, and the faculty is more than pleased to hear of your interest in it.
In a non-brochure way of saying things, MU does suffer from a great deal of intolerance towards non-humans. All non-humans (excepting dwarves, who have their own residence hall, elves, who also have their own residence hall, and human hybrids with a low percentage of non-human heritage) are made to reside in Harlowe Hall, which is equipped with all the amenities of the full campus, including catered meals three times a day. While seemingly a good thing, it is a thinly veiled attempt to encourage the residents to not leave the premises for any other reason that to go to class. It has been made apparent that even some professors have prejudice towards some non-humans.
