Although there is not much known thus far about the Khersian Faith, it appears to be the main religion at Magisterius University. The Khersian faith centers on the worship of Khersis, whose godly attributes are not yet known.

The symbol of the Khersian Faith is an egg with a figure of Khersis in the center. The significance of this is unknown, though the symbolism of the egg suggests rebirth.

The Khersian faith is monotheistic and indications have been given that they have a history of persecuting nonhuman races, as well as Mechans and Khersian heretics.

The student organization at MU for the Khersian Faith is the Khampus Khrusade for Khersis. It was first encountered in Chapter 3. That chapter features tension and competition between the KhKhKh and the Prism Pride Coalition that indicates some Khersian intolerance of homosexuality.

It has not yet been established whether the Khersian faith is a single religious entity; there is a possible inference in Chapter 47 that the Arkanites may be a Khersian sect or denomination, depending on the amount of parallelism accepted by the reader.

Parallels

The similarity of names, as well as certain other congruencies, tend to draw parallels between the Khersians of the MUniverse and the Christian religion in the classical universe. The homonymic quality of the names is self-evident; the history of the religion as given in Chapter 46, as well as the similarity in holy symbols (the central deity hanging from a geometric shape), the monotheistic structure, and the real or perceived intolerance of the faith for those who are different or who dissent have all been cause for comparison between Khersianism and Christianity. As with Christianity, also, Amaranth has expressed the sentiment that Khersians "do a lot of good", with the implication being a humanitarian focus.
