Mackenzie encounters Keirsta on her way to her room, and is told that her mailbox is stuffed full; she needs to check it. She goes down to her mailbox, and finds that someone has been sending her numerous letters in thick red envelopes. Seeing that the trash was rather full, and not very secure, Mackenzie asks the hobgoblin attending the front desk if he had a vanisher. He did, and so Mackenzie handed him her letters, which he then vanished. Mackenzie then went to the ball room, where she encountered Twyla evoking an image of an angel. Twyla waved the image away when she heard the door close behind Mackenzie, and left the room. Mackenzie scribed a copy of the residual image left in the ball, and then wrote up another campaign letter.
