Amaranth

Amaranth is one of two Nymphs that have entered Magisterius University and live on the Fifth Floor of Harlowe Hall. The second nymph is named Barley. Amaranth has an ethical exemption from the university's weapons policy, and as such goes around unarmed.
She professes to be seventeen years old and very intelligent, with a tendency to be too uncomfortable with admitting she's wrong about something or not as smart as someone else. She wears vision-correcting glasses, and follows the nymph tradition of wearing no clothing at all. She is in a relationship with Mackenzie Blaise, identifying herself as Mackenzies owner. Although her tendency to see only the good in everyone (and, seemingly, every situation) helps Mackenzie to feel comfortable with her, it may also be blinding her to the less benign agendas of those around her.
